Coleman Construction was hired to do this amazing home addition in the prestigious area of Belle Mede. Herbert Roger’s residence in Historic Belle Meade served as the basis for adding a new library, second story master bedroom suite, new entry foyer, music room, a three-car garage and additional storage area. This major project took 10 months to complete and involved the use of architectural pieces from France, custom made doors and windows and a second story terrace off the music room. Numerous structural challenges including concrete retaining and foundation support walls, steel I-Beam work, and the installation of pre-cast concrete slabs by crane were required to build this fantastic addition. The music room features a French limestone mantle with herringbone firebrick, plaster-finished walls with deep color glazing, and six-piece crown molding.
